Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Online ticket purchases are preferred for Easter Events. No physical ticket is needed—we’ll check you in by name or receipt. Please review arrival times if purchasing at the gate.
What ages can participate in the Egg Hunt?
All kids are welcome! The hunt is geared toward younger children, but older kids may join. Groups may be split by age when possible.
How often are the Easter Egg Hunts?
Egg hunts run continuously throughout the day, with plenty of activities to enjoy in between.
Are the eggs filled? Can kids keep them?
Eggs are not filled and must be returned. Kids return eggs at the Egg Drop, then stop by the flower planting station for a take-home gift bag.
What if it rains?
We stay open during light rain or passing showers. In the event of heavy, all-day rain, check our website or Facebook for updates. If we close, tickets will be refunded or rescheduled.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds are not offered. If you can’t attend, call at least one day in advance to reschedule.
What animals are in the petting zoo?
Planned animals include bunnies, goats, lambs, donkey, pony, cows, and pigs. Additional farm animals may be visible. Animal welfare comes first, and some may be given a break if needed.
How long is the farm trail?
The trail is about ½ mile long and includes ponds, woods, streams, hills, and uneven ground. Strollers are not recommended. The trail also features an Egg Spying Hunt.
Can my child hold or pet a real bunny?
Possibly. For safety, children must sit while a bunny is placed in their lap or beside them. Bunny handling depends on animal comfort.
Will the Easter Bunny be there?
Yes! The Easter Bunny will make periodic visits throughout the day.

What’s the difference between a private and semi-private party?
Private parties are available from Easter to mid-September.
Semi-private parties are offered during Easter Fun on the Farm and Harvest Festival and include barn space plus access to seasonal activities. Barn is not restricted from other farm guests.
What’s included for setup and decorations?
The barn includes tables, chairs, trash cans, and simple farm décor. You may bring your own decorations. About 30 minutes is provided for setup.
What do I need to bring?
Table coverings, food, drinks, paper goods, and any party favors.
What cleanup is required?
Take your decorations and gifts with you—we handle the trash. Please collect all personal items before leaving.
What if I have more than 50 guests?
Contact Cathy at 443-532-5761. Larger groups may be accommodated for an additional fee.
Can I book extra time?
Party times are usually sufficient. Extended time may be available by request and approval in advance for an additional fee.
What if there’s bad weather?
We recommend dressing for the weather and enjoying the day. Deposits are non-refundable; rescheduling may be possible.
Do you provide a party host or planner?
No. Hosts must supervise all children. Extra adults are recommended if children are being dropped off.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are refundable if canceled more than 2 weeks before your event. No refunds within 2 weeks.
What are the farm rules?
Children must be supervised at all times. Follow posted signs and staff instructions. Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
What else should I know?
Horsmon Farm is a working farm with uneven terrain, dust, and farm noises. Not all areas are fully accessible—please consider you and your guests needs when booking.

Spring Private Field Trips can be scheduled any day after Easter. Activities and lessons may vary depending on the season. Including planting a seed to take home.
Fall Private Field Trips can be scheduled for Monday thru Thursdays in October. Include a small pumpkin.
Teachers are free. (Minimum 50 kids) All money must be collected by teacher or administrator before exiting school bus at farm.
Structured Activities - usually field trips with teachers and chaperones. Group of no more than 30 will rotate through all the stations.
Relaxed Activities - usually when each child is brought by a parent or guardian. Kids can spend more time at the different areas
If you will be staying here for lunchtime. We have some picnic tables outside and seating for about 60 inside the barn.

Your lesson can be customized to reflect on what you are teaching in school. Just let us know and we are happy to accommodate your group.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes—leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please clean up after your pet.
